Welcome to the AERA Action Research SIG! I am honored to serve as Chair for 2026–2028.

Whether you are a long-time member or new to action research, our SIG is a community of practitioners, researchers, and graduate students committed to improving education through practitioner inquiry.

This year, we hope to:

· Strengthen connections among members

· Expand professional learning opportunities

· Foster collaborations across institutions

· Create opportunities to recognize and celebrate action research

We encourage you to get involved by submitting proposals, volunteering as a reviewer, attending SIG events, and sharing your ideas with us. Your input will help shape the SIG’s priorities and future initiatives. We welcome members at every stage of their action research journey.
