Windy City Focus
Chicago-Themed Sessions at the Annual Meeting

From the restructuring of public education to the development of teacher preparation partnerships, several Annual Meeting sessions take a close look at issues and trends impacting education in Chicago, assess their local ramifications, and examine how they fit into broader developments. Although the full Annual Meeting schedule will not be available until February, take a sneak peak now at our preliminary list of Chicago-themed sessions.

Film Expo Seeks Recommendations

The AERA Invited Film Expo Screening, held in conjunction with the 2015 Annual Meeting, seeks recommendations from AERA members. The film expo will provide opportunities for meeting attendees to interrogate the evidence of various forms of injustice, particularly regarding issues of culture, language, and heritage. Recommendations — due January 4 — should illuminate justice-in-action in the everyday lives of people, locally and globally.
