COSSA Action Alert: Tell Congress to Save NSF's Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences Directorate

The Consortium of Social Science Associations (COSSA), of which AERA is a member, has issued an
action alert
to urge Congress to intervene and protect the SBE Directorate from the Administration’s plan in the FY 2027 budget request to dismantle the NSF SBE Directorate.
AERA Sends Urgent Request on NSF Grant Termination

AERA
urged
all PIs and co-PIs of terminated grants from the National Science Foundation across fields of science and types of awards to provide information on the impact and consequences of these terminations. AERA asked members affected by the NSF cuts to respond to a survey as soon as possible. AERA is undertaking this important survey in conjunction with other scientific societies and groups.
