We are scheduled to hold elections for 2 positions:

Chair-Elect and Program Chair-Elect. The Program Chair-Elect is a 2-year term followed by two years as Program Chair and the Chair-Elect is a one-year term followed by two years as Chair.

Please consider serving the SIG. Send the following by September 28th. 

• The full name of the candidate
• The institutional affiliation of the candidate;
• The candidate’s email address;
• A biographical statement for the candidate, which can be up to 250 words.

Election Timeline

• September 28: Nomination Deadline 
• October 1, 2020: Ballot Entry Website Opens
• October 30, 2020: Ballot Entry Website Closes
• January 2021: Election opens early January
• February 2021: Election closes early February
• Late-February 2021: AERA Central office will notify candidates and SIG Chairs of the election results. Election results will be announced in the February issue of Highlights.
