The 2025 AERA Annual Meeting Call for Submissions deadline has been extended to August 2. The 2025 AERA Annual Meeting theme—“Research, Remedy, and Repair: Toward Just Education Renewal”—“calls us to consider how we can work across disciplinary, epistemological, and methodological orientations to forge deeper connections in our field that can speak to the challenges we face in education and in our imperfect multiracial democracy.”

Site selection for the AERA Annual Meeting, which gathers more than 15,000 attendees each year, is undertaken with thorough consideration of multiple factors, including, but not limited to, geographic and cultural diversity, costs for attendees, available meeting space, and social justice record. Read more
