Triennial Travesties - 50th Anniversary Edition

The Triennial Travesties has been an AERA Annual Meeting highlight since 1969 and we're planning our golden anniversary edition. Other than an occasional, really awful research presentation, the Travesties is the singular opportunity for conference attendees to laugh out load as presenters use stand-up comedy, satire, and other comedic forms to make good-natured fun of education research and researchers.

Presentation Lineup:
Melisa Cahnmann-Taylor, University of Georgia
Chalkboard Improv

Steve Schellenberg, Blue Dog Data, LLC & Glynn Ligon, ESP Solutions Group
Recognizing Nano-level Educational Research: A Proposal for Modest Awards

Misha Mosely, The Black Teacher Project
Participatory Action Research and the Ego: What Happened When One Researcher Went Too Far

Dylan Wiliam, University College London
Liff in Educational Research

The School Reform Blues (Reprise)

Fifty Years of Funny: An Archeological Travestite’s Greatest Hits
