Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the Service-Learning and Experiential Education Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association. The SIG invites submissions for proposals that address the fields of service-learning and/or experiential education.

The SIG co-sponsors the International Journal of Research on Service-Learning in Teacher Education, which can be accessed at https://ijrslte-ojs-uta.tdl.org/ijrslte/index.php/IJRSLTE. In addition, the SIG sponsors the Advances in Service-Learning Research series published by Information Age Publishing. To view past volumes in the series, visit http://infoagepub.com/series/Advances-in-Service-Learning-Research.

Though the focus of the SIG has been primarily on service-learning, we are currently broadening our scope to better encompass the field of experiential education. We welcome submissions that are grounded in the literature on experiential education.

Best Regards,

Barri Tinkler, Ph.D.
