The AERA Professional Development and Training Committee is pleased to offer an extensive program of courses for the 2019 AERA Annual Meeting in Toronto!

The courses focus on skill development in implementing statistical techniques, communicating and writing research, qualitative research methods, other research capacity building areas. Designed to reach participants at multiple skill levels, the courses are appropriate for graduate students, early career scholars, and other researchers who seek to increase their knowledge and enhance research skills.

Extended courses begin the morning of Thursday, April 4th. The mini-courses will occur Friday, April 5th through Monday, April 8th. You must be registered for the Annual Meeting in order to purchase tickets to attend courses. 

Registration for Professional Development and Training Courses will open in early December. Potential participants can register for Professional Development and Training Courses by logging into 2019 AERA Annual Meeting registration.
