Greetings! Welcome to the Accreditation, Assessment, and Program Evaluation in Education Preparation Special Interest Group.  Members of our SIG are interested in research in educator preparation, accreditation and state approval reviews/processes, and program evaluation. Research studies focus on program/unit quality and candidate performance, including the interpretation of research findings on the competence of the graduates of educator preparation programs. We support members’ efforts by encouraging movement from a culture of compliance to the development of a culture of inquiry.
