The purpose of the Research on Giftedness, Creativity, and Talent Special Interest Group is to provide leadership that (1) encourages and promotes high-quality scholarship addressing giftedness, creativity, and talent, (2) creates a community of scholars and leaders in the field, (3) facilitates communication and dissemination of research both within and out-side the field, (4) nurtures future scholars, and (5) advances research in the field.

Membership in the ROGCT SIG provides you with an opportunity to dialogue with top scholars in the field and to hear and read about the latest research. You will also receive a newsletter twice each year.  Each year at the AERA Annual Meeting, the ROGCT SIG sponsors a special evening event with a guest speaker and social, in addition to the daily paper and roundtable sessions.

The ROGCT SIG currently has about 200 members. We would like to increase this number, so please encourage your colleagues and students to join!
