| Abstract: |
Interactional mechanisms underlying the establishment and maintenance of a common ground among the interlocutors is a key ingredient of social interaction and learning. Advances in mobile neuroimaging and eye tracking technologies have brought important opportunities to study such processes as they unfold in real time. In this study we aim to explore the neural and ocular correlates of grounding among dyads as they establish a common frame of reference to address a shared task by utilizing synchronized EEG, ECG, fNIRS, and eye tracking sensors.
