Abstract: In an effort to assist our students in grasping the notion of the effects of curvilinearity, leverage, and influence on Least Squares, we developed a hands on lab, administered early in the course, and based on the concept that experimentation with raw data will facilitate awareness, and optimize comprehension and retention of this important aspect of data management.
