| Abstract: |
A Pilot project has been designed by one school District of New Brunswick, Canada, to facilitate transformation of learning spaces to embrace novel, problem-based, investigative, student-led teaching approaches thus promoting more active and engage involvement of all students in their learning. Conducted within a (Name of the Partnership) network, our qualitative exploratory case study involved three schools participating in the Pilot project. Semi-structured online interviews have been conducted, audio-recorded, and transcribed focusing on students’, teachers’, and school administrators’ perception about their experience, learning spaces, students’ learning, engagement, and resources. Participants affirmed that despite several challenges due to a radical transformation of their school, several adjustments were made leading to more active, self-directed, collaborative, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning
