| Abstract: |
The erasure of AfroLatinx and non-white Latinx identities within the current scholarship contributes to an incomplete image of Latinx students in U.S. higher education. This work aims to provide one view of the data surrounding Latinx students. Through a disaggregated look at the Florida College System, the data illuminates the prevalence of both AfroLatinx students as well as Indigenous, Asian, and Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander populations. Through this analysis it is also possible to further consider the implications of this erasure on our ability to effectively support students across these institutions.
