| Abstract: |
In this paper, I will explore how official educational system lead to differences among migrant children identities, values and connection of them with their home culture and host society by comparing migrant siblings. My participants started their educational journey at different countries; some of them registered for elementary education in their country of origin, other siblings participated an official education institution in the receiving country.
Also, I will analyze how migrant children learn in a new country that uses a different curriculum, educational philosophy, and cultural background despite discrimination and language barriers in educational environment.
