2015 Annual Meeting Call for Paper and Session Submissions: June 2 - July 22

We encourage you to participate in the 2015 AERA Annual Meeting to be held Thursday, April 16 – Monday, April 20 in Chicago, IL. Joyce King, AERA President, and Beverly Gordon, Chair, 2015 Program Committee, are pleased to announce this year’s Annual Meeting Theme: “Toward Justice: Culture, Language, and Heritage in Education Research and Praxis." Now is the time to advance a paper or session submission for consideration by a division, special interest group, or committee and to volunteer as a chair or discussant.

Deadline for Paper and Session Submissions is July 22, 2014

Please review the Call for Submissions below as it contains important information about this year’s Annual Meeting theme and submission requirements. 

How to Submit:
  1. Please review the Call for Submissions (PDF)
  2. Log in
  3. Click "My AERA" at the top of the page
  4. Scroll down to the 2015 Annual Meeting and click "Submit a Paper or Session"

Please pay special attention to the six elements that must be addressed in the narrative paper submissions even if the results, conclusions, or findings are not complete or final at the time of the submission. Also, please indicate your preferred type of session and willingness to present in alternative formats at the time of submission.

Deadline for Professional Development Call for Proposals is July 22  

The AERA Professional Development and Training Committee seeks course proposals for the AERA 2015 Annual Meeting. The Committee aims to offer a program of courses at the meeting that will be of significant skill-building value to education researchers. Professional development courses may provide training in specific research methods and skills, cover 
significant research issues in related disciplines, emphasize specialized areas, address professional development issues, focus on research for the improvement of practice, or examine recent methodological developments in education research.
