AERA DIVISION H/REL MID-ATLANTIC WEBINAR
The Division H/AERA webinar video recording of August 19 on Implementation Science is now available. You can find it here.
Many of you participated in the August 19th Division H/REL-Mid-Atlantic webinar which focused on Conducting Implementation-Informed Evaluations: Practical Applications and Lessons from Implementation Science. Now others can check it out!
Caryn Ward did a wonderful job of tearing down that third wall that sometimes separates the participants from the presenter in webinar presentations and energetically shared a wide range of material, and many thanks to Teresa Duncan and REL-Mid-Atlantic for organization and presentation of the webinar!
CARNEGIE SUMMIT ON IMPROVEMENT IN EDUCATION
Dear Division H Colleagues,
You all know well that our education institutions confront increasing pressure to educate all students towards much higher educational goals than ever before. We continuously see good ideas fail to deliver the expected results -- not for lack of effort, but for a lack of knowing how to understand the system, develop and test change ideas, and measure the impact they are having. We need a systematic way for the education field to learn to improve.
I invite you to join a growing community of improvers and innovators committed to using the proven methods of improvement science to achieve success reliably at scale. At the Carnegie Summit on Improvement in Education, March 22-24, 2016 in San Francisco individuals from across the education field, from kindergarten to higher education, practitioners to policymakers, funders to researchers, and many others will gather come together to transform teaching and learning through inspiring keynotes, sessions with actionable takeaways, hand-on pre-conference workshops, and countless networking opportunities.
Register today at carnegiefoundation.org/Summit2016. Please contact Kareen Yang at yang@carnegiefoundation.org, with any questions.
I look forward with excitement to seeing many of you there.
Best,
Paul LeMahieu
