DIVISION H - PRE-CONFERENCE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE

Good News!  The Division H Professional Development Committee is very pleased to announce that our pre-conference course proposal for the AERA annual meeting has been accepted!  We are very excited to be able to offer a unique professional development opportunity focusing on implementation science and education evaluation.  In our view, implementation science is an exciting new interdisciplinary research approach with great potential for education evaluation. The course, titled, Use of Research and Tools from Implementation Science to Design More Useful Evaluations of Education Initiatives, will be led by Dr. Caryn Ward and Dr. Dean Fixsen, leading experts from the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) at UNC-Chapel Hill.   The course is scheduled forFriday, April 8, 2016 from 8:00am-3:45pm.

Division H is offering scholarships of $50 to the first 40 members of Division who register for the professional development course. Please register through the AERAannual meeting site, and you will be reimbursed for $50 of the cost of the course.
