Greetings, historians of education,

I hope you are well and enjoying a safe start to the summer. It was great to see so many of you in Denver for the AERA annual meeting. Thank you to all who participated. We enjoyed excellent papers and great discussions that continue to demonstrate the importance of our field. Our annual meetings would not function without your service. Thank you to all who reviewed, chaired, and discussed sessions. I would like to recognize the work of Dr. Camika Royal, Dr. Michael Hevel, Dr. Alexander Hyres, Dr. Theo Moton, Dr. Vincent Willis, Dr. Jacqueline Pedota, Chris Getowicz, and Darion Wallace for their support in planning the program and for showing up to make sure Division F moves forward in critical ways. We welcome Professor Yoon Pak, who is the VP-elect of Division F, and Dr. Laura Muñoz, who is the Secretary-elect for Division F. Looking ahead to the next academic year, please consider submitting a proposal for our 2026 annual meeting in Los Angeles. As our institutions and the students and communities we serve are experiencing daunting challenges, history and historical analysis will be as critical as ever to chart the best course.
