National Science Board Releases STEM Education Data Resource

November 2014

The National Science Board (NSB) has announced the release of a new interactive, online public resource for examining trends in STEM education and the workforce. Data from the NSB report Science and Engineering Indicators 2014 are the primary source for this resource.

The STEM Education Resource website, released in late October, gives users the opportunity to explore new and updated data, organized around 60 central questions about STEM, sorted by education level and the workforce.

Data are available on childhood development, education progress, school finances, college enrollment and degrees, college finances, the job market, the labor force, and salaries. Along with interactive graphs and maps, links from each of the 60 questions include main findings and additional analysis.

The resource allows users to easily download data as well as share it through email and social media.
