On behalf of AERA President Na’ilah Suad Nasir and 2022 Annual Meeting Program Co-Chairs Tryphenia Peele-Eady and Elizabeth Tipton, we are pleased to invite you to contribute ideas for the 2022 AERA Annual Meeting Presidential Program.
We encourage you to make recommendations on sessions related to the 2022 Annual Meeting Presidential Program theme, “Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century,” by emailing president@aera.net. The theme calls on us to “identify, study, and enhance existing efforts to move systems toward equity to support all learners across the lifespan, from early childhood to K–12 to higher education and adult learning.”
The Presidential Program Committee will meet three times, starting shortly in May, through the end of June 2021. While suggestions are welcome at any time, recommendations for session topics and innovative formats, as well as other ideas, submitted well before June 30, 2021, will be especially useful.
Your feedback will be essential to developing a Presidential Program that engages and inspires 2022 Annual Meeting attendees. We look forward to hearing your thoughtful and innovative ideas!
