- provide examples by both new and established scholars of current work on CRT in education; and
- open a space for the exploration of next steps with regard to CRT in education.

Of concern is the need to challenge the ongoing reproduction of high and disproportionate levels of learning underdevelopment and subsequent social and economic marginalization. In this presentation, strategies from the New Zealand context that have potential for wider applications will be shared, including the development of alternative schooling and higher education models.
