The Div J GSC is launching year two of the graduate peer mentoring program for doctoral students. The Doctoral Mentoring Program offers a supportive transition experience for first- and second-year doctoral students by pairing them with upper-level doctoral students who can help unlock the hidden curriculum of academia. We hope this mentoring program engages students’ resource-sharing, constructive feedback, and community that positions students for a successful doctoral journey. 

The program structure for mentors/mentees includes 1 (one) meeting between September and December, 1 (one) meeting between January and April, and an in-person meet-up at the 2023 AERA annual conference.

If you are interested in participating, please apply by Monday, October 3, 2022. Space in this program is limited and contingent on the number of mentors that sign up. Participants will be selected based on need and research interest matches.
