ReARTiculations: Responses to Meeting Theme

Vancouver Preview, March 26, 2012

The innovative trio of Presidential sessions “Non Satis Scire: reARTiculations!” is the collaborative product of members of the Vancouver arts community, Vancouver scholars, and AERA. It assembles cutting-edge visual and performing artists in dance and theater improv, slam poetry, music, and comic book art. The performances will reflect the artists’ responses to the educational ideas and discussions that they experience at the AERA Annual Meeting.

A stage and gallery will serve as showcase for three reARTiculations sessions, as well as for some of the artists’ more established work. The performances will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and Monday, and from 6:05 p.m. to 7:05 p.m. on Sunday.

Experience a new dimension of this year’s meeting theme by connecting with the lively Vancouver alternative arts scene and intellectual life. Check out reARTiculations at the end of each day in the Vancouver Convention Centre, First Level, West Room 105 Foyer.
