The LSJ Action Committee will, through advocacy and activism, advance social justice efforts to address critical issues in education faced by underrepresented and/or marginalized populations.

This year the Action Committee has planned to offer activism through virtual means. We are organizing a Teach In with webinars focused on antiracist leadership. Leaders from institutes of higher education, school districts, and community organizations both locally and globally will be panelists and engage in critical discussions about how to do this work. There will be opportunities for graduate student mentorship and supports for publishing social justice research.
