Welcome to the new Website for the AERA Charters & School Choice SIG.  After spending two years combining from the old School Choice and Charter School Research & Evaluation SIGs, we are enthusiastically embarking on an array of new initiatives to encourage interaction between our members.  This website, for which we all have Nina Buchanan to thank, is the first of these.  As co-Chairs, we encourage you to take full advantage of your SIG membership by reaching out to other SIG members.  Many of us have reaped the advantages of working with AERA colleagues on studies that might have been much less rich if we had been forced to act on our own.
