Graduate Student Research Award:

Graduate Student Travel Award

Emphasis is on the financial need for travel assistance. $700 Award for a graduate student (master's or doctoral) who plans to attend AERA and present an accepted proposal in the Science Teaching and Learning SIG.

$800 award (to be divided if more than one author) recognizes holistic STEM education research that addresses issues of equity and social justice in their communities of practice and aims to empower STL SIG members to engage in civic action. This is not an award for activism, but instead an award for research scholarship surrounding civic action and social engagement (CASE). The intent of this award is to recognize researchers that prioritize the voices of the stakeholders in their research context.
