Welcome to our SIG! Research on the Superintendency and all that role encompasses is the focus of our dedicated membership who seek to study, promote and advocate for this critical leadership role in our PK-12 education system. In addition to members of the academy, our SIG is pleased to include serving Superintendents, school leaders and retired leaders who believe in giving back to their profession. Student members are both welcomed and encouraged to share their work with us through the paper, roundtable and poster sessions of AERA, and hopefully have your dissertation considered for our Dissertation Award. Our executive have established partnerships with leadership organizations that will result in research of importance to practicing leaders and that informs continuous improvement in the Superintendency globally.
