Welcome to the Music Education Special Interest Group! Our SIG is one of four related to the arts, and the only one devoted exclusively to music teaching and learning. If you are not a member, please check us out at an annual meeting or join our Facebook page. We are a strong, welcoming scholarly community (which should not be surprising given our shared backgrounds as music teachers). We are seeking members who represent the diverse backgrounds of music education scholars and practitioners. We invite a wide variety scholarship that addresses any questions related to music education regardless of methodological approach or theoretical stance.
