The Working Group receives support for its activities from the National Institutes of Health's Office of Social and Behavioral Sciences Research. The Working Group conducts outreach to social and behavioral science researchers, enhances education and training regarding human subjects protection regulations and the review of social and behavioral science protocols, and prepares reports on topics within the human subjects protection system that need improvements.
