Your New AERA Member Portal Experience
What You Need to Know and Do
What’s Happening
On October 1, AERA launched a new membership system—re:Members, a new online platform designed to enhance your membership experience. re:Members will replace NOAH (MyAERA). Until then, you may need to use both systems to access AERA services.
Why the Change?
AERA is adopting a membership system that takes advantage of today’s advanced technology. re:Members will make it easier to join, renew, update your profile, and access member benefits and services.
What You'll Use Each System For
Use re:Members to:
- Register for the 2026 Annual Meeting
- Join AERA or renew your 2026 membership
- Manage your membership details (including your contact information and profile)
- Access AERA journals online and JSTOR JPASS
Use NOAH (MyAERA) to:
- Access the All Academic Annual Meeting Online Portal (submission information, Div/SIG/Committee session planning, past Annual Meeting programs)
- Access governance and committee resources
- Purchase books published by AERA
Create Your re:Members Account
Beginning October 1, users are able to create a re:Members account on the AERA website.
- Current members: Will use the primary email address on record with AERA and follow the “Forgot Password” path to set your new password.
- New members: Will create a new account with your preferred email address and password.
