Message from the Vice President

Welcome to Division L: Educational Politics and Policy,

The Division is committed to building a community of those who study how policy is made and implemented and the effects of different policies.  Our members work primarily in universities but also in state departments of education, federal agencies, and think tanks among other places.  The Division has a lively program for promoting the sharing of research, mentoring newer researchers, and recognizing the work of the best and brightest in the field.  Twice a year, we produce a newsletter to share the achievements of our members and bring people up-to-date on events at our annual meeting.  We also participate actively in the David L. Clark National Graduate Student Research Seminar in Educational Administration & Policy.
