Dear Arts & Inquiry SIG members:

It’s with great excitement that I begin my tenure as Chair of our Arts & Inquiry SIG at AERA. I have benefited from the incredible creative work and generous community of my colleagues in this SIG, and I’m thrilled to be able to give back in this role for the next 3 years. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing Chair, Professor Amanda Gulla, for her expert leadership and nurturing of the SIG. I will endeavour to carry on her good works, and the vision that she has brought to our community. I also thank Professor Mary Beth Cancienne for her continued stewardship of the SIG since its inception. I hope you will join me in re-engaging with the SIG as international travel resumes post-COVID, and as we enter this next phase of building the Arts & Inquiry SIG in person and virtually.
