The
Institute of Education Sciences has released A First Look at 2002 High School Sophomores 10 Years Later, the third and final follow-up survey of the Education Longitudinal Study of 2002 (ELS:2002). Drawing on the wealth of information in ELS:2002 about the factors and circumstances related to the performance and social development of American high school students, the newest First Look describes the outcomes of the cohort as they transition into early adulthood at about age 26. The First Look tables provide national estimates for phenomena such as high school and postsecondary educational attainment, marriage and family formation, student debt and aid, and labor market entry in terms of differences in demographic, social, and academic characteristics. The full report is available here.
