AERA SIG
Instructional Technology (52)
Mission/Statement of Purpose
The purpose of SIG-IT is to encourage, promote, and support research on the design and development of instruction and the media technologies that aid in its implementation.
Message from the Chair
Greetings SIG-IT members!
It is time to submit your presentation proposals to SIG Instructional Technology for the AERA 2011 Conference in New Orleans. The deadline is July 15th, 2010 again this year!
As I am sure that you have probably gotten reminders from AERA and maybe your division, I want to stress the importance of submitting to our SIG. The number of slots that each SIG is allocated relies even more this year on the number of submissions that we receive than it has in the past. By submitting your proposals to SIG IT, you help us to provide a large variety of instructional technology related topics.
We have left the schedule of 2010 presentations posted on our website at http://www.aera.net/Default.aspx?menu_id=176&id=1447. Take a look at the variety of topics that we had last year, perhaps your proposal is a good fit!
To submit your proposals log in to the AERA homepage and click on the 2011 conference meeting theme on your main page. Currently the link to follow says “Peer Review Volunteer Login”, login again, but then it allows you to submit a paper. For your convenience, the direct link is https://www.aera.net/AALogin2011.aspx?ReturnURL=/WS/UpdateAA2011.aspx
Thanks again for considering submitting your paper to SIG IT (SIG 52) this year!
Thanks.
