AERA 2008 Inaugural Fellows

The AERA Fellows Program launched with a group of Inaugural Fellows.  AERA past presidents and scholars who had been selected to receive the AERA Distinguished Contributions to Research in Education Award through 2006 were invited to become Fellows.  In addition, AERA members who had been inducted into other research organizations through 2006, based on criteria the same as, or equivalent to, that for the AERA Fellows Program were included.  These organizations are the National Academy of Education, the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, the American Statistical Association, the Sociological Research Association, and relevant sections of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
