Each year AERA’s Executive Director delivers a “state of the Association” report to the membership, designed to provide an understanding of how the Association works to advance the goals and priorities of education researchers.  Annual Reports are published in Educational Researcher and on AERA’s website.  

Each Annual Report contains information about the Association’s fiscal status, demographic characteristics of the membership for the reporting year, descriptions of activities and accomplishments from standing committees and divisions, and highlights of developments in major initiatives and programs such as publications and the Annual Meeting program.  Each Annual Report also includes a comprehensive listing of AERA committees and their members, and other officers serving during respective reporting years.
